Drug EruptionsKeywords: ila? erupsiyonu, nedensellik de?erlendirmesi Abstract: Drug eruption is a major health problem. While most drug eruptions are mild, self-limited, some has life-threatening potentional and a very small number of it may be fatal. Drug eruptions can mimic any kind of dermatoses. Despite all the difficulties the diagnosis of drug eruption is mainly based on clinical findings. What’s essential in clinical approach is to show the association between the drug and the eruption. There’s a few causality assessment scales such as “Naranjo Adverse Drug Reaction Probability Scale” and “Causality Assessment provided by World Health Organization-Uppsala Monitoring Centre” should be used if there’s any suspicion. Prevention should be a priority while dealing with drug reactions. Drugs should not be used unless absolutely necessary, society should be informed repeatedly and the importance of rational drug use should always be kept on the agenda
