Abstract: With the Law No. 6771, the Turkish government system has changed as the presidential system. In the Turkish presidential system have specific aspects to Turkey though there are some significant points about the presidential system. The President collects both the powers and duties of the head of state and the head of government. In this respect, there is a different situation from the unauthorized and irresponsible president in the parliamentary system. The responsibility of the President is to be assessed in three respects: political, legal and criminal. Moreover, this responsibility should examine after separation of personal and task-related dimensions. The position of the parliament is crucial for checking the president in the presidential system that system of a powers’ hard separation. In this respect, an accountability process should bring to the appropriate constitutional stage through the logic of the hard separation of powers. In this study, how the amendment of the Constitution with the Law No. 6771 determines the scope of the President’s responsibility has compared with the previous regulation
