The emphas？s of devotion to sunnah of the Prophet is one of the subjects that Islamic scholars have been paying attention to since their early years. “el-i？tisam bi’l-kitab ve’s-sünne”, the Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah to devotion / cling is expressed in the Classical Islamic sources. Some hadith scholars such as Buhari (256/870) had dealed with under an independent title in their works.
