Social expenditure as a Universal Basic Income Practices in TurkeyKeywords: Evrensel Temel Gelir,Sosyal Harcamalar,Yoksulluk Abstract: Social expenditures are expenditures made by the government to eliminate the negative impacts on individuals and to increase the level of social welfare. Universal Basic Income, as a social spending method, is guaranteed by the state to ensure that all individuals in the country earn a level of income that can meet their basic human needs. Universal Basic Income is an important issue due to its potential to prevent the effects of problems such as poverty and unemployment. Nowadays, the need for human labour with the developing technology reveals the need for Universal Basic Income application. In this study, Universal Basic Income will be explained, and the examples applied in the world will be examined. A possible application of Turkey is intended to assess the impact of public expenditure in social spending axis
