Historical Journey of Brucellosis and TularemiaKeywords: Bruselloz,Tularemi,Tarih Abstract: The Greek word 'Zoon' means 'Animal'. In 1959, the World Health Organization stated its general disposition with the statement that "Zoonotic diseases are called infectious diseases that are transmitted naturally from animals to humans." This group, which is considered to have over 200 varieties for today, constitutes 60% of human infectious diseases. Brucellosis is the most common of these and exhibits nonspecific signs of acute or chronic illnesses that may vary from mild to severe. Tularemia is a disease that resembles plague in many ways and can be missed in differential diagnosis. When evaluated globally; roughly 500,000 new cases per year are reported for both diseases, varying according to the countries.
