Analytical Study on Participation Banking in Turkey

This article mainly focuses on existing performance and implementation of Islamic banking practices in Turkey. Though small-scale, millions of people abstaining from banking services due to convential banks' non-reliance on shariah principles, constitute a huge potential for Islamic banks worldwide including Turkey. Our study reviews general principles of Islamic banking as well as studies on the empirical experiences. S.W.O.T Analysis of Turkish Islamic banking industry including analytical study on the balance sheet performance is followed by a Multiple Regression Model with ”Hausman Test
