Multicriteria Selection Of Alternative Tramway Vehicles For Urban Transportation

Nowadays, it has been realized many breakthroughs in many sectors, also, major developments are seen in the field of rail systems. The high-speed train projects in the intercity transport; metro, light rail system, monorail and tram projects in the urban transport, alongside the mega-projects in the worldwide, are put into practice. New tramway lines are being built in many cities and their projecting process are ongoing. In these lines, tramway sets are purchased to pay attention to the domestic production rate. In this study, a tramway which is domestic production was taken into consideration and it is made seleciton for urban transport among the 4 different sets by using AHP and fuzzy AHP methods. At last, it was introduced the domestic production tramway in this study, then the most appropriate system is selected, and the results of the used methods were compared and evaluated for analyze
