The Effects of Construction, Tourism and Foreign Direct Investments on The Turkish Economy: SVAR Method (1980-2017)

The growth policies of developing countries which is very effective in construction, tourism and foreign direct investments are also have a great importance for Turkey which is a developing country. In this study, Turkey's annual construction, tourism and foreign direct investment data between 1980-2017 were used as variables and the effects of these variables on Turkey's growth were examined using the SVAR method. In the study, it was concluded that although construction and foreign direct investments were more effective on Turkey's growth, tourism investments has not had the same effect. Also in this study, the relationship between the parameters was examined and the results were presented
