Plants as a Nanocomposite Source and Field of Application

Nanocomposites, play a key role in several industries due to their unique customizable properties and modifiable functions. Many plant nanopolymer researches, such as cellulose, lignin, have become the focus of attention in different sectors for meeting the increasing raw material needs and producing ecologically compatible alternative nanomaterials. Plants are application field of nanocomposite materials at the same time which are source of nanocomposite material production. In crop production processes, nanocomposites are used to reduce the toxicity of agrochemicals, plant growth regulators and mineral nutrient transport, controlled and targeted agrochemical release.
