EVALUATION OF BURNOUT LEVELS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER EDUCATION STUDENTSKeywords: Beden E?itimi,Tükenmi?lik,Cinsiyet,Spor,??retmenlik Abstract: The purpose of the study was to investigate the burnout levels of physical education teacher education department students from various universities in terms of different variables. A total of 503 students, 204 female and 299 male students from 6 different universities participated in the study. Masclach Burnout Inventory-Student Form which was developed by Schaufeli et al. (2002) and adapted to Turkish culture by ?apri et al. (2011) was used a the data collection tool. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one way ANOVA and Cronbach Alpha internal consistency analysis were used for the analysis of the data. Statistically significant difference was found between age groups in the depersonalization subscale (p<,05). Significant differences was found in emotional exhaustion and depersonalization subscale in terms of university variable (p<,05). And according to grade level, significant difference was found in emotional exhaustion and depersonalization subscales (p<,05). There were no significant differences in terms of gender, family income level, mother and father education levels (p>,05). As a result, burnout levels of physical education teacher education programme students may vary according to age, university and grade level
