Current Approach to the Diagnosis and Management of Contact Dermatitis in Children

Abstract Contact dermatitis is an inflammatory dermatosis caused by substances in contact with the skin and has various forms. Currently, as a result of ear piercing, piercing, temporary and permanent tattooing and use of cosmetic products in early age,frequency of contact dermatitis is increasing in childhood and because of the delayed diagnosis, the patients have to take topical steroid treatment for a long time. Inthis paper, allergic and irritant contact dermatitis are mentioned to increase awareness in this subject
