Evaluation of Selection of Heavy Trailers with AHP Method

The project logistics that include transportation of heavy and bulky cargoes is a logistics activity that consists of extremely sensitive operations. Trailer selection can be extremely difficult because of there are too many factors, criteria, and decision alternatives in the selection processes. Therefore, utilization of the multi-criteria decision-making methods can be a good option in order to solve these kinds of problems. In this study, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) which is one of the methods of multi-criteria decision-making was used. It tried to examine which criteria are more important compared to others, according to project logistics companies in a trailer selection process.
