Notes on the Some Manuscript Works Related to Conquest of Crete by OttomansKeywords: Osmanl?lar,Girit’in Fethi,Yazma Eser,Kronik Abstract: The identification of the Ottoman chronicles in different literary libraries in different countries of the world and the evaluation of their contents is one of the indispensable aspects of writing history. It is clear that the sorting of these works by considering certain topics will provide great convenience to the researchers who work on them. In this article which was prepared with the motivation of the mentions mentioned, was made an assessment on the introduction of the artifacts and resource evaluation related to the conquest of Crete which was taken by Ottoman State in XVII century. Most of the studied works consists of copies of previously identified chronicles. It has also been determined that the writings discussed are largely composed of quotations from chronicles written before their time. It is understood that these are mostly benefited from Katib ?elebi’s Fezleke and Mühürdar Hasan A?a’s Cevahirü’t-tevarih or other chronicles benefiting from it. Some of the sources in Mecmua were also determined to be a copy of the fathnama (fetihname) prepared after the conquest of Candi
