The Effect Of Teaching With Games Method On Academic Success In Primary School 4th Grade Turkish LessonKeywords: ?lkokul,Oyunla ??retim Y?ntemi,Dil ??retimi Abstract: In this experimental study, the effect of teaching Turkish with games method on the academic achievement of fourth grade students in elementary school 4th class was investigated. For this purpose, one of the 4th grades of a primary school in the Mediterranean region was selected chosen as an experimental and other control group. The total number of students constituting the research group is 38. In the experimental group, teaching method of games was used; however, in the control group the teacher follows the instructions in the guidebook were used while teaching Turkish to fourth graders. In this study, both group readiness test before the experiment and both groups final success test were applied after the application. In the statistical evaluation of the data, t-test was used for two categorical variables and one way Anova was applied for those variables that contained more than two categorical variables such as mothers' educational status and fathers' educational status. According to the findings obtained in this study, there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group and no significant difference was found in academic achievement according to gender and education level of the famil
