The Analysis of Power Generation from Solar Energy in Houses by The TOPSIS Method in Turkey

Energy is the unquestionable necessity of today for humanity. When we look at today's energy sources and consumption rates, it seems that the problem that humanity is most likely to search for is the reserves of energy resources. In this study, renewable energy sources that substitute for available energy sources and which is thought to increase its share in energy resources in the following years will be examined and a more specific distinction will be made to focus on solar power generation from renewable energy sources. In this context, the cost, efficiency and being a rational choice or not of producing electricity from solar energy in residences in Turkey by year 2018 will investigate. In the selection and comparison of the solar energy system, most appropriate solar energy system cost will be deducted using the TOPSIS method of the multi-criteria decision-making techniques and it will be tried to be analysed by comparing with the electricity consumption and cost of the average household
