An Exemplary Opposition of a Pious: Hasan al-Basri

Hasan al-Basri is famous opponent individuality against Umayyad power. He was a member of scholarly and wisdom circle. Beside that, he has known as a dissident who heavily criticizes the false attitudes of Umayyad caliphs in early age. However, the opposition of Hasan al-Basri has not set off a discussion that let to disorder and hostility in society.
