Abstract:

The research within the main purpose that to determine the level of 21st century learner skills use of high school students who will be the employees of the 21st century in other words will be the employees of the future is seen as important in terms of research and application. The study was carried out by combining single survey model and causal comparison research model within the framework of quantitative research approaches. Students attending various high schools in Karaman city center were the participants of the study. Descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. According to research findings, high school students use 21st century learner skills and its four sub-dimensions (cognitive skills, autonomous skills, collaboration and flexibility, innovativeness skills), above mid-level. In addition to this, it was observed that the use of 21st century learner skills of the students differed significantly according to their grade levels and their training goals
