ELDERLY IN LAW AND THE EVALUATION OF THE SOCIAL SERVICES OFFERED TO SENIORS IN THE CONTEXT OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW

Protection of the disadvantageous population in our society including children, women, the elderly and the handicapped requires specific regulations, which is basically a matter of law. In this study, the legal status in which the individual will be subject to in senior years as well as the rights, authorities and obligations to be obtained by this status will be examined with the perspective of national and international legislation. Also, the recognized rights, powers and obligations for the elderly in diff erent branches of law will be determined, and elderly services (social services) in the context of public service principles will be evaluated
