Risk Analysis of a Fuel Station and Evaluation in terms of Occupational SafetyKeywords: Akaryak?t ?stasyonu,Risk Analizi,?? güvenli?i Abstract: Fuel stations are businesses that are places where refueling is done such as petrol, diesel. These establishments consist of the place where the building and the refueling where the market is usually located by means of pumps. Also, fuel tanks are located in underground. Since fuel filling is carried out continuously, the risk increases depending on the frequency. In addition, if the number of facilities is considered, the risk is growing as cumulative. The fuel station may be very dangerous if the fuel in the station catch fire or detonated. Officers, repairers and other employees in fuel stations should be protected from the damage of fuel oil, lubricants and equipment used in this sector, such as gasoline and diesel. But another issue that makes the fuel stations important for occupational safety is that these hazards can also affect the consumers and customers who visit the station. In this study, risk analysis of a fuel station belonging to Mersin province was performed. As a result of the observations and controls, the possible risks and effects were determined. In the risk analysis, 90 hazards were observed and the risk levels were determined by determining their probabilities and severity. 34 low-grade risk were identified according to the risk levels. 47 datas in the mid-grade risk group and 9 datas in the high-grade risk group were determined
