EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF STRENGETENING INFILL WALLS WITH CFRPKeywords: Ankraj detay?,Dolgu duvar,Gü?lendirme,Lifli Polimerler Abstract: In order to minimize the damages of the earthquakes that occur in our country, it is necessary to determine the unsafe buildings against earthquake. The unsafe buildings must be strengthened by using suitable methods, or must be demolished if the strengthening is not economical. In this study, strengthening of existing infill walls with fiber polymer (CFRP) was experimentally investigated. For this reason, a total of 5 brick wall samples were manufactured in 700mm × 700mm dimensions. Two of the specimens were left as plastered and un-plastered without strengthening. The other three specimens were strengthened with CFRP on both sides of infill wall. In the strengthened samples, the effects on the behavior of anchor differences in CFRP application have been investigated. Diagonal shear tests of the all samples were carried out, and the obtained results were compared
