Determination of Homophobic Attitudes’ of Social Work Students

This study was conducted for the purpose of drawing attention to specify homophobic attitudes of Social Work students. The study is conducted the month of May in 2016. The study group includes 97 students who study Social Work at Ankara University and Hacettepe University. Interview form which is for the purpose of identifying sociodemographic attributes of Social Work students, who take part in this study, is transferred to SPSS package and it is interpreted by analysing proper data, which is derived from attitude scale of homosexuality, for specifying homophobic attitude of Social Work students. According to the results of the research, it was determined that social workers' attitudes towards homosexuality in terms of factors such as gender, homosexual friend or acquaintance can be different
