Control and Eradication Strategies of Brucellosis Small Ruminants in Turkey

This review is up to date with the purpose of supplying national control and eradication and appropriate strategy of sheep and goat brucellosis, which is one of the common infectious zoonotic diseases in the world, causing public health risks and serious economic losses in domestic animals. Within this context, latest literature survey was conducted, sero-surveys, control and eradication studies carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forest in Turkey were examined and benefit-cost analyzes of the performed control studies were evaluated. As a result; it is aimed to contribute to the work that will be done about performing control and eradication studies against brucellosis in small ruminants in Turkey
