History and Architectural Features of Emirgan / Mirgün (Hamid-？ Evvel) Mosque in the Context of Archive Documents

The Emirgan Mosque which one of the most important monuments of Abdulhamid I and was built in 1196/1781 is located in Emirgan district on the Rumeli side of ？stanbul. Acording to waqfiyya along with baths, water mills, shops, bakery, boathouse and the customs were transported from Rumelian Castle. The subject of our research is the Emirgan district around Emirgan mosque. At the same time, restoration of the mosque has been tried to be put on the basis of archieve sources from the first time until the present day. Otherwise, this article aimed to better explain the change in time by referring to art understanding of the period when Emirgan mosque was built. In this context, the construction of mosque, understanding sof art of the period and repair documents obtained were revealed in order of history. In addition, the compementary elements of the mosque are briefly mentioned in this article. As a result, this article with the description of the present state of the mosque has been completed
