THE EVALUATION OF RATIONAL DRUG USE AND PHARMACEUTICALIZATION LEVELS OF THE SOCIETY

In the study, it is tried to be determined that to what level of drugs the society is used to use. For this purpose, a mixed method is used in the research in which quantitative and qualitative research designs are used together. Literature survey is conducted and discussion are made with the lecturers and graduate students working/studying in the field of health management and 18 questionnaire questions and 4 basic interview questions are prepared for qualitative interviews. Survey questionnaires are applied to 300 people selected between the ages of 18-80 in the province of Isparta and interviews are made with 12 people selected by objective sampling method. In the evaluation of the data obtained from the questionnaires in addition to frequency, percent, mean, standard deviation statistics, Kruskall Wallis test and Mann Whitney U test analysis are used. In the evaluation of the data obtained from the interviews, the thematic analysis method is applied. According to the results of the research, although the survey participants state that they do not use premedication medication and not just apply medication to print the medication, according to the results obtained from the interview, the community like to use medication, there are a lot of applications for medication, and the premedication medication is also used. The problems that both questionnaire and interview data combine at the same point are that drugs are a threat to the future of the society and society is beginning to become intimate with medicines
