The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations in the Gastronomy Sector: The Case of TA?PAKONKeywords: TA?PAKON,Gastronomi,Sivil Toplum Kurulu?u Abstract: Non governmental organizations are an alternative option for the masses they represents in order to announce their voices sophisticatedly. If these organizations work properly, they take a big step for developing the sector where they take part. These organizations showing awareness to different social events represent the masses in different platforms. TASPAKON (All Chefs and Pastry Cooks Confederation) which is a successful example in its area and is the largest non governmental organization and confederation in both Turkey and the world achieve significant success’ in the area of gastronomy. It is determined that the detailed contributions of the non governmental organizations to the area they represents do not exist in the literature, so for this reason in this study TASPAKON which is ongoingness and has an important role in sectoral parts of the gastronomy area is evaluated. The contributions to the gastronomy area from various aspects of TASPAKON are addressed. The interview with the head of TASPAKON have been done and in the conclusion of this interview, however the new structuring of TASPAKON, the sector success of it is revealed
