Mean and Expected Years of Schooling in Turkey with Province, Year and Gender Breakdown

The main aim of this study is to measure and investigate the level of education clearly and widely. Within this framework, the Mean Years of Schooling (MYS) and Expected Years of Schooling (EYS) were calculated over time according to both province and gender. Moreover, the evolution of these variables in the time dimension was determined and inferences were made. Since these variables are calculated for the first time in this structure, it is thought that it will be useful for researcher, related administrators and policy makers.The most important reason for this is that these variables provide an important indicator for determining the outcomes and causes of the contribution of education investment by gende
