Sorting The KOSGEB Support Models For SMEs By Multicriteria Decision Making Methods

Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) act as catalysts in the general economy with the added value they create. The contribution to production, marketing, exportation and employment has unquestionably reached a very serious level and economic management has been a part of the economy. Although SMEs have a very important place in the economy; they face serious problems in productivity, institutionalization, branding, production, marketing and finance. In order to solve such problems, They are supported by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB). Firms can apply to most of these support models. When SMEs should apply for support models related to priority problems, applying to non-priority models causes serious waste of resources and time loss. In this study, the problem of which support models should be applied according to the priority problems of SMEs is discussed. In the province of Konya, it is determined by the multi-criteria decision-making methods which can be applied to support models by considering the common problems of the SME related automotive supplier industry.
