According to the trauma literature, it is seen that psychiatric disorders after trauma and posttraumatic growth have been discussed in recent years. However, there is a limited number of literature, about Posttraumatic Embitterment disorder. The aim of this review is to give theoretical information about the Posttraumatic Embitterment disorder. Posttraumatic embitterment disorder was proposed by Linden. According to Linden and colleagues the main criterias for diagnosis are a single exceptional negative life events related with disorder, patients make a connection between life event and disorder, patients perceive this event as unjust and they report emotional arousal
