Abstract:

Career values provide the employee to decide his/her career based on his/her perception of his/her ability, needs, and personal values and affect all decisions related to career. When the cultural factors are thought to be the most important factors affecting the value judgments of people, the importance of the culture is obviously seen in the concept of career. Career decisions are basically the decisions made based on values. While some values are predominant in people's future scenarios, others will be left behind or regarded as the secondary values. Competence in career decision-making refers to the beliefs about individuals' abilities related to the behaviors necessary for career-related issues . Value judgments of people are considered as a significant factor affecting their career decisions and it can be said that the national culture extents may affect individuals' career assessment competence. This study is aimed determination the mediating role of avoidance of ambiguity and individualism dimensions of national culture on the relation between career values and career assessment competencies. According to the results of this analysis, the findings supporting the basic hypothesis obtained are "the level of individualism from national cultural is intermediary variable in relation to career values and career assessment competence “the level of avoid the ambiguity from national cultural is not intermediary variable in relation to career values and career assessment competence, result ofanalysis is detected
