Ticaret Abstract: The commercial liberalization process has many important economic impacts and consequences. Nowadays, the effects of commercial liberalization especially on growth have reached remarkable dimensions. The impoverished growth is one of these effects. In this context, in order to determine whether the real effective exchange rate and the terms of trade are causing the impoverished growth Turkey's economy of 2010: Q1-2018: Q3 model generated using quarterly data, is analyzed econometrically with the help of the ARDL border test. As a result of the analysis, a long-term and negative relationship was found between the terms of trade and real growth rate. In addition, there was a long-term positive relationship between real effective exchange rate and real growth rate. All these analyzes and evaluations of the results in the presence of impoverishing growth hypothesis is accepted in Turkey
