Abstract:

Classical Ottoman Literature/Poetry, now known as Divan Literature/Poetry in general, is a great literary formation that transcends six centuries and three continents. As a result of its origin in Turkish-Islamic culture, many cultural elements belonging to various civilizations from India to Zoroastrianism and from China to Anatolia are an integral part of this literature. Classical poets, usually found in the Anatolian region, any living thing, object they see in nature; they wrote the sweet or bitter events they encounter, the concepts of different cultures, with a poetic dream. Flowers, in almost every culture, mythology, the legend mentioned, is an integral part of human beings. Of course, the most common flower in the Eastern literature is the rose flower. Growing in a wide geography, addressing the eye, nose and touch of touch, associating with the Prophet Muhammad and having a flashy flower made him a literary work. The books that the classical Ottoman poets gathered their poems were named Divan. A large part of these works usually form ghazals. Ghazal is the form of poetry that is best suited for telling the feelings of love. Some poets who have no poetry in other genres have many poems written in the ghazal form. In this study, the relationship between rose, nightingale and other animals will be examined. Our study area is limited to the ghazals of poets who lived between the 14th and 19th centuries, with a few exceptions
