The Effects of Iran-Sasanian Thought on Turk-Islam Ph?losophyKeywords: Türk-?slam felsefesi,kelam,tasavvuf,?ranl? filozoflar Abstract: When we have a look at the Islamic philosophy, we see that it contains many cultures such as Greek, Arabic, Turkish, Persian and Hindu and that its light spreads through the cultural centers such as Rey, Mesopotamia and Baghdad. In this process the philosophers grew up in Iran have played an important role for shaping the Turk-Islam thought. On the other hand some of the Persian scholars, who escaped from Mongolian invasion, settled down in Anatolia and continued their studies there. However, the fact that Turkish society lived in a wide range of the eastern Asia and Kirman Seljuks are established in Iran causes different sights on the ethnical origin of the scholars in this area. With the discussions about the origins of the philosophers going on, this article discusses the effects of Iranian and Turkish philosophers to each other. However, regarding the broadness of the subject the study has been limited with the time-frame until the 18th century rather than the Islamic relationship of Turkish and Iranian societies
