The Holy Prophet's Sense of Education and Examples of Practice within the Frame of the Social Problems of Youth

Every human being is born with a certain potential. Fostering or weakening this potential is directly related to the social-environmental conditions made available for the individual. People supported with healthy mental and physical opportunities during their childhood can develop a strong and solid constitution, and overcome the problems faced during their youth. Thus, parental behaviours, educational opportunities and social-environmental conditions are of vital importance for young people going through a period most open to external stimuli. Young people face two types of problems: mental and social. Problems stemming from family structure, education system, school setting and environment are among social problems faced by youth. It is critical to know such problems and create healthy social conditions for young people. This study mainly attempts to indicate certain problems caused by family structure, education system, school settings and social environment, and introduce the prophetic experiences for the resolution of such problems. The main aim of this study is to discuss the Prophet's methods such as “valuing humans and strengthening the will”, “guiding people to the pure disposition they have by nature” and “developing individuals in line with their capacity” for the resolution of youth’s social problems and introduce the prophetic education system applied to the companions of the Prophet with different aspects
