Neurodevelopmental Evaluation of the Newborn

Abstract Perinatal and neonatal medical problems may have long term negative consequences on neurodevelopment in newborns who are treated in neonatal intensive care units.The follow-up of these high risk infants is important for early diagnosis and intervention. Current recommendations for neurodevelopmental follow-up of high riskinfants are discussed here
