THE BAMYAN GOVERNMENTS IN THE MIDDLE AGES

Located in a mountainous area and in the middle of high mountains, Bamiyan is one of the central provinces of Afghanistan. It has snowy and cold winters. The rest of the year, especially in the spring and summer seasons, cool and temperate. It is 230 km from Kabul. It ranks second in Afghanistan in terms of population and growth rates. According to some statistics, the population is approximately 400,000. This large region, which has hosted many historical civilizations, is important with its location on the Buddhist temples, strategic location, natural resources and the Silk Road. Therefore, the territory and the surrounding lands have always attracted the attention of great powers.
