Investigation on the management of Monilia disease (Monilinia laxa Aderh et Ruhl.) in organic cherry cultivation

The study was carried out in two different locations, Pozant？ (Adana) and Darbo？az (Uluk？？la/Ni？de) in 2015-2017. It was investigated the efficacy of cultural control (removing infected shoots), cultural control + bio-fungicides, cultural control + fungicides, bio-fungicides and fungicides application for Monilia disease management. As a result of these treatments, it has been observed that there was an important statistical difference between control and treated plots. Over the years of studying in both regions, it has been seen that the practice of cultural control alone was sucsessful with 33-51% of disease control, but this activity was low in managing of this disease. The most effective result was obtained on combination of cultural control + bio-fungicide with 76-91% of disease control efficiency
