Current Approach to Acute Urticaria and Angioedema in ChildrenKeywords: Akut ürtiker,Anjio?dem,?ocukluk ?a??,Tan?,Tedavi Abstract: Abstract Acute urticaria (AU) is defined as the persistence of urticarial plaques for less than 6 weeks. Roughly, half of the patients with AU are accompanied by angioedema. Although the disease is common in all age groups, usually it has a self-limiting and benign course. A presumptive trigger, such as infection, drug, food, insect sting maybe identifiable in some patients. But, no specific cause is found in many cases.
