Abstract:

In this study, the effect of infill ratio on tensile failure loads of printed parts using 3D printer was investigated as experimentally. This study also is a follow-up study performed previous paper [1] by authors and the new filament type was added to extend. Through the printing process, Poly (lactic acid) (PLA), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), Nylon and Polystyrene support filaments were chosen. The infill ratios of printed parts were selected as 15%, 50%, and 100% respectively. The experiment results showed that the failure loads were increased depended on the increasing of infill ratios
