EFFECTS OF MAIN PERSONALITY TRAITS AND ENTREPRENEUR PERSONALITY ASPECTS ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP INTENTION: A SAMPLE OF THRACE

The importance of entrepreneurship is rapidly increasing with the development of technology and the emergence of new business models. It is clearly seen that technological entrepreneurship tendency is increasing especially in young individuals. However, the national policies for the development of entrepreneurship and the creation of the entrepreneurship ecosystem are prepared in a very general framework. It is necessary to reveal the personality profiles of the targeted entrepreneurs in order to prepare entrepreneurship policies according to the type of entrepreneurship. In this research, especially the effects of personality traits of young individuals and entrepreneurial personality dimensions on entrepreneurship tendencies were investigated. The research was conducted on students who study in three universities in Thrace. Research data were analyzed through Structural Equation Model (SEM). As a result, it has been determined that the dimension of Extrovertness has a significant effect on the Entrepreneurship Intention through the Innovation dimension
