An Example of the First National Architectural Movement in “Halla？l？” District, “G？lba？？, Ankara: Mehmet A？a” Mansion

This article is about the “Mehmet A？a” Mansion located in “Halla？l？” District in “G？lba？？, Ankara” and it is prepared by the results of the master thesis “Restoration Proposal of the Mehmet Aga Mansion in Halla？l？, G？lba？？, Ankara”. It aims to present the building, which is one of the unique examples of the First National Architectural Movement in rural area, and show the results of the survey and documentation done to ensure preservation of the authentic qualifications of the building to be passed on the future generations and the comparative study done with similar dwellings built in the same period. Therefore the memory of the first owner of the dwelling, “Mehmet (ATAK) A？a”, who is well-known as one of the important supporters of the national struggle with his contributions to the army in the War of Independence will also be maintained and contributed the conservation of cultural heritage
