TAXI RENEWALS BASED ON AHP AND MOORA METHODS DECISION SUPPORT MOBILE APPLICATIONKeywords: Ticari Ara? Se?imi,AHS,MOORA,Ticari Taksi Se?me Uygulamas? Abstract: As part of Ministry of Finance Revenue Administration’s decision of “Application of Provisional Clause in Renewal of Commercial Vehicles” in “Private Consuming Tax (PCT)”, renewal operations of commercial vehicles to be used as local taxi cabs are held exempted from PCT on condition that they are completed until 30/06/2019. Those who want to buy vehicles to be used as commercial vehicles put some criteria into consideration such as production price, rate of PCT discount, fuel type, inner city and upstate fuel consumption, transmission structure, cylinder volume, engine power, maximum speed, number of airbags, acceleration, rear deck capacity, and number of seats. Selection of the vehicle to meet the requirements becomes a complicated process. In interviews with the taxi drivers it has been observed that, mostly the experiences and recommendations are taken into consideration while Multi Criteria Decision Making Methods (MCDM) etc. are not. In this study, designing a mobile app that is easily accessible from smart phones with android and IOS operation systems, and that has decision support system that sorts 667 taxi cab alternatives suitable for user criteria is designed. The mobile application uses the AHP technique for criteria weighting and MOORA technique for vehicle ranking. The mobile application can be downloaded quickly and easily from application markets. The simple and user-friendly interface of the application appeals to users of all ages and sights.
