A Research on Use of Information Technologies in Accounting Education

The International Accounting Accreditation Standards published by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) for the educational institutions, express the necessity of using information technology in accounting education. Prezi has recently been one of the accounting information technologies that is often used in education. The purpose of the study is to measure the level of perception on the students who take accounting courses and use Prezi in accounting education. For this purpose, a questionnaire study was carried out for students who used and not used Prezi in accounting courses. It is evident that the use of Prezi in accounting education helps students understand accounting courses better. They are satisfied with the tools and equipment used, and that the lessons become more interesting and entertaining
