Teachers’ Opinion on Music and Instrument Training in the Central Municipalities of Bursa

This research is carried out to define the conditions of the practices of music and ？nstrument education given by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Central Districts and making suggestions to define the problems and improvements. At this research, the applications of today and past music and ？nstrument education are briefly introduced. The instructors are asked about the state of and actions to be taken. Then to determine the music and instrument education carried out by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and three Central Districts, the findings of these interviews and interpreted. According to the findings of this research it is understood that; the aims of the music and instrument education at these instrututiens are not defined, content is designed personality by the instructors. And the practices are not organized to carry out the arms of education and some suggestions are given to make the education more fruitful
