DETERMINATION OF CRITERIA WEIGHTS FOR THE WINTER TOURISM CENTER SELECTION USING FUZZY AHP

The demand for winter tourism centers in Turkey has increased in recent years and therefore, many winter tourism centers have become operational. Having numerous of winter tourism centers makes difficult the choice of those who prefer it . In this study, it is aimed to determine the factors affecting the decision of the person in terms of winter tourism center selection and rank the alternatives by determining the most suiable alternative. In the hierarchy formed by the help of literature and experts, there are 5 criteria and 19 subcriteria related to these criteria. The weights of the criteria has calculated using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process method. Using this method, linguistic expressions can be converted into numerical expressions. According to the results obtained, the price criterion was found to be the criterion with the greatest weight. In the sub-criteria, it is found that the distance of accommodation has the greatest weight considering the general weight. Finally, some proposals have been made for some limitations of the study and for future studies
