Level of knowledge about oral and dental health interventions in critical care and home health services units of nursing studentsKeywords: Hem?irelik ??rencisi,a??z sa?l???,di? sa?l??? e?itimi Abstract: Objevtives: In this study; the aim was to measure the level of knowledge about oral and dental health interventions in critical care and home health services units of nursing students. Material-Methods: The research group constituted of 219 students who were being educated in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Research data were collected by questionnaires containing questions on sociodemographic characteristics and oral and dental health issues. Data were evaluated using, percentile calculations, average and frequency measures. Results: It was determined that % 66,7 of the students were female, % 33,3 were male and % 77,2 were not educated about oral and dental health. It was identified that % 65,8 of the nursing students thought that there was not enough information about oral and dental health practices in undergraduate education. Conclusion: It appears that the students who participated in the study do not have enough knowledge of oral dental health. As a result, it is recommended that oral and dental health education be given importance in nursing undergraduate education
