The Evaluation of Financial Performances of BIST XKMYA Companies by Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods and Comparison of Methods

Accuracy of financial performance analysis of a company has great importance in the purpose of future decisions. Multiple factors are taken into consideration while analysing financial performance of companies. For this reason, MultiCriteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods are appropriate for financial performance analysis.In this study, performances of BIST Chemical Petroleum Plastic Index (XKMYA) which includes 24 companies were evaluated and put in order. Determinated criteria were evaluated by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for obtaining criteria weights. Then, performances of companies were evaluated by VIKOR, TOPSIS, GRA and MOORA methods by means of year 2015 annual financial statements.
