Abstract: Deposit banks operating in Turkish banking system show different performance from each other as a result of activities that shown in line with economic conditions, reactions given to these conditions, perceptions and preferences of customers. Aim of this study is to examine branch and employee performance according to the ownership structure with regard to the asset, credit, deposit and net profit of deposit banks and to determine whether there is a significant difference between them. Before banks was investigated based on the number of bank, branch, employee and based on asset, credit, deposit share according to ownership. In line with purpose of study, branch and employee ratios was calculated in 2003-2015 period and assessment was made. Then, it was determined with KruskalWallis Test that there is a difference between bank’ assets/loans/deposits/net profits per branch and per employee according to ownership.
