ANDY WARHOL INCIDENT IN THE ART SCENE

Andy Warhol brakes our perception about the art because despite the fact that he was one of the most talked-about and most controversial names since his very first entrance to the art scene, he neither changed his attitudes, nor stepped backed from his assertive statements. For some, he was “the end of the art”, for others he was “the beginning of the new art”. Although he claimed that his intend was not making art, his impact on the art world indicated that nothing will have ever been the same again. In this essay, the milestones of the art history are described in general and Andy Warhol’s point of view about the art, his “factory”, his works and how the common perception of the art has changed after his appearance in the art scene are discussed
