YUSUF BAHRI TATLIOGLU (1878-1957): A YOZGAT MEMBER OF SIVAS CONGRESS, A DEPUTY OF THE LAST OTTOMAN PARLIAMENT AND YOZGAT DEPUTY OF GRAND NATIONAL ASSEMBLY, A MEMBER OF SAMSUN INDEPENDENCE COURTKeywords: Yozgat,Milli Mücadele,Bahri Tatl?o?lu,Akda?madeni,Sivas Kongresi,?apano?lu ?syan? Abstract: Yusuf Bahri Tatl?o?lu was born in Akda?madeni, Yozgat in 1878. He attended to Sivas congress as Representative of Yozgat. He became Deputy of Yozgat in the last Ottoman Parliament (1920) and in the First Grand National Assembly (1920-1923). He was in charge of tranquillization of Yozgat rebellion. His family and property holding were damaged in those events. He was elected to the Independence Court of Samsun. He received Independence Medal with Red and Green Lane. He was in charge of determining Deputies of Yozgat for elections of the Second Grand National Assembly. He was withdrawn from the elections and political life because of a dispute between him and Yozgat Mayor Akif. He spent the rest of his life by trading and farming in Akda?madeni. Tatl?o?lu family became deputy of Democratic Party by invitation of Celal Bayar. Bahri Tatl?oglu died in 1957 in Akdagmadeni. This study aims to introduce Bahri Bey, one of the prominent figures of National Struggle, with the documents gathered from official archive, official reports of the Parliament, his family archives and information gathered from his family (a notebook explaining family stories), and with the support of oral history (interviewing with grandchildren Emin Tatl?o?lu and niece Güner A?abeyo?lu). The study aimed to explain partially his and his family’s experience in the ?apano?lu Rebellion. The process that caused him to withdrawal from the deputy and the politics, and then difficulties in his life will be tried to convey
