Perceptions and Anxieties about Accounting Courses: An Examination on Giresun University Business Administration Department’s Students

Accounting is essentially an international communication language. Accounting respect, it has an important place in terms of understanding, analyzing and decision making of economic events both in terms of businesses and nations. The success of accounting education is undoubtedly possible with the correct understanding of the students. In order to understand the perceptions and anxieties of the students who took accounting courses in this study, a research was conducted among the students of business section. Factors affecting the perceptions and the levels of anxiety of the students about accounting course were examined in the study. According to the results of the research, it was found that students' willingness to learn, use and acquire accounting, even if they were concerned about the accounting course, were influenced positively by the accounting perspective as a result of increased accounting knowledge
